The possible impacts of Tropical Storm Crising have prompted the Department of Health (DOH) to issue a Code White Alert for the DOH Operations Center.

The DOH issued the advisory anticipating the storm, which experts predict will cause flooding, severe rainfall, and widespread evacuations.

Additionally, the department is getting Health Emergency Response Teams, medications, and medical supplies ready for the impacted areas.

Authorities placed five areas under Signal No. 2 Saturday morning, including Batanes, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, and northeastern Abra.

The storm caused flooding and evacuations, with two people reported missing.

The Philippine Coast Guard reported 1,875 people, 81 vessels, 37 motorbancas, and 591 rolling cargoes stranded in various ports nationwide.
