House submits Duterte impeachment details
House spokesperson Atty. Princess Abante submitted new information to the Supreme Court on Vice President Duterte’s impeachment.
Members filed their response to the Supreme Court’s order to reveal details about Duterte’s impeachment proceedings.
The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) served all parties online and will properly file a physical copy with the high tribunal on Monday.
Previously, the Supreme Court required the Philippine Senate and the lower Representatives to remark and submit information about Duterte’s impeachment trial.
Over one-third of House members signed the fourth complaint and sent it to the Senate, making the earlier complaints irrelevant.
The Senate has already filed a Manifesto Ad Cautelam with the Supreme Court.
