San Miguel wins game 3
San Miguel defeated TNT 108-88 in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals to take a 2-1 series lead. In the second quarter, June Mar Fajardo led the Beermen in outscoring the Tropang 5G 37-27, contributing 12 points.
Almond Vosotros hit a triple to reduce the gap after going on a 7-0 run to take a 97-83 lead.
Before the Beermen’s 9-0 run to complete the match, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser put TNT at 88.
Leo Austria, the head coach of San Miguel, commended the players’ expertise and their instincts for handling the finals.
Chris Ross had 15 points, six rebounds, and one steal; Fajardo added 11 rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block.
With 16 points, TNT was ahead of RR Pogoy, who had 15.
