Some celebrity stars — Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Dingdong Dantes, Maris Racal, Angel Aquino, and Jodi Sta. Maria — marched with thousands of Filipinos on September 21 to protest corruption.

They joined the Trillion Peso March, where citizens rallied to demand accountability for alleged anomalies in flood control and other infrastructure projects.

The Angat Buhay social media account posted photos showing Vice with partner Ion Perez, Anne with her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Darren Espanto, and Jackie Gonzaga marching under the Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network banner.

“Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, Jasmine Curtis, and Darren Espanto join the Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network in #TrillionPesoMarch. We salute your courage, compassion, and love for the nation. Thank you for standing up!” the account wrote.

Vice and Anne had earlier supported similar rallies against corruption. On Sunday, more stars joined the cause. Elijah Canlas, Andrea Brillantes, Gardo Versoza, DJ Chacha, Alex Medina, Julia Barretto with her family, Tessie Tomas, and Iza Calzado walked with demonstrators at the peaceful rally.

Angel Aquino urged vigilance, saying citizens must monitor officials to stop further wrongdoing. Maris Racal led chants against corruption, while Elijah Canlas joined Chel Diokno on stage to demand accountability for ghost projects and alleged contractor anomalies. Former Miss Universe Catriona Gray amplified the call and chanted for the jailing of corrupt officials.

In Makati, Dingdong Dantes, Jerald Napoles, Kim Atienza, Benjamin Alves, and Kim Molina joined an anti-corruption run. Dingdong described it as a prayerful gathering for a corruption-free Philippines.

Meanwhile, Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma and actress Jodi Sta. Maria added their voices at Luneta Park. Sta. Maria stressed that citizens cannot ignore accountability.
