Wipha exits, Habagat still lingers

Wipha, another name for Tropical Storm Crising, is leaving the Philippine mainland, but the habagat, or southwest monsoon, will still have an impact on the country from northern Luzon to Metro Manila, as well as the Visayas and Mindanao.
Crisis was last observed 345 kilometers west of Itbayat, Batanes, after tropical cyclone wind signal warnings were decreased nationwide. On the Northern Luzon coast, a gale warning is still in force. As it approaches Hong Kong, Crising will strengthen into a typhoon and continue to move west-northwest toward southern China during the course of the next day.
Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro are anticipated to have monsoon rains from the southwest monsoon, while Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, and Negros Occidental may experience sporadic rainfall. In certain regions of the nation, landslides or flash floods are possible.
